Washington (ANI): Britney Spears mom Lynne Spears has blasted the popstar's erstwhile manager Sam Lutfi in her new book for acting as a predator in her daughter's spirit and cut her off from her loved ones. Called 'Through The Storm A Real Story of Fame and Family in a Tabloid World', Lynne has described how Lutfi worked his way into her daughter's life and tried to cut all her ties with her family.
"She (Britney) was sad, floundering, ripe for a marauder to come along. Britney was exposed to this man wHO rode in on a white horse," Contactmusic quoted Lynne, as saying in her book. She wrote: "Within a month of meeting, Sam was in complete controller of her life. He appointed himself as her gate-keeper, and there was no one he wanted to keep the gate closed to more than Britney's family."
